Ahhhh…..potatoes have always been in a staple in my house while growing up. Fried taters were on the table at least 3 nights a week. It wasn’t until I met my husband that I tried roasted potatoes. He’s always had a thing for spices and flavor and his roasted potatoes are always yummy. It doesn’t matter which seasoning are in the cupboard, the potatoes are going to be full of flavor.
Here is a family favorite. Butter Roasted Potatoes!! (We used red potatoes, but you can use any type of potato you have on hand)
Butter Roasted Potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Scrubbed red potatoes
- 2 tbsp Butter melted
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- ¼ tsp Pepper
- ½ tsp Garlic powder
- ¾ tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cut potatoes into ½ inch cubes put into large bowl. Add melted butter, olive oil and all the spices to the bowl and toss to coat.
- Spread on rimmed baking sheet in single layer. Try to spread them out as much as you can to maximize browning.
- Bake in 375° F oven until golden brown approximately 50 minutes.
