Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease 8 muffin cups or line them with paper liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a small liquid measuring cup, pour the vegetable oil. Add the egg and enough milk to reach the 1-cup mark. Stir until well combined.
Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as it can result in dense muffins.
Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
In a separate small bowl, combine the sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon for the crumb topping. Use a fork to mix the ingredients until crumbly.
Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling them right to the top. Sprinkle the crumb topping generously over each muffin.
Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
