Dry the salmon fillets with paper towels. Coat each fillet with olive oil, then rub in Cajun seasoning and a bit of salt, if desired.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets in, skin-side up, and sear for about 3 minutes until the top forms a crispy layer. Flip them over and cook the skin side for another 2 minutes.
In the meantime, melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat. Add honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Stir until fully blended, then let it simmer for a couple of minutes. Take it off the heat and squeeze in the lemon juice.
Pour the honey butter mixture over the salmon fillets in the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, basting the salmon regularly with the sauce to enhance the flavor.
Garnish the cooked salmon with chopped parsley, black sesame seeds, and lemon wedges. Serve hot and enjoy!
