Add the chopped tomatoes to a food processor. Pulse 6-8 times until they have a salsa-like texture. If your processor is small, you may need to do this in two batches. Transfer the tomatoes to a mixing bowl.
Combine the diced onion and green bell pepper with the processed tomatoes in the bowl.
Mix in the cilantro, lime juice, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir until well blended.
Serve the salsa with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite Mexican dishes.
