This easy Garlic Butter Green Beans recipe features fresh green beans roasted to perfection and tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce, elevating any meal with its delightful flavors.
Start by trimming the ends of the green beans, then washing them and patting them dry.
Mince or crush the garlic and set it aside.
In a large bowl, toss the cleaned green beans with olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until they are all coated marvelously.
Spread the green beans out in a single layer on a sheet pan.
Pop them in the oven and roast for 20-25 minutes or until they are tender and shiny, with some brown spots from the pan.
While those beans are roasting, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Let it cook for about four minutes, then add in the minced garlic.
Keep on cooking until the butter turns golden brown and gives off a lovely nutty aroma - around 4-5 more minutes!
Once the green beans are done roasting, toss them in that delicious browned garlic butter. Sprinkle with crushed red pepper and serve up warm.
