Trim the tough ends of the asparagus and place them in a medium-sized baking dish. Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add the minced garlic on top for extra flavor.
Roast the asparagus in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, uncovered.
After roasting, remove the dish from the oven and evenly distribute the blue cheese over the asparagus. Sprinkle the chopped bacon on top.
Return the dish to the oven and roast for another 5 minutes, uncovered, until the cheese starts to melt.
Serve the dish immediately while the cheese is still gooey and delicious!
