1teaspoonDijon mustardor spicy brown mustard
1/4cupmayonnaisepreferably thick and rich
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, egg, and Old Bay seasoning.
Stir in the chopped onion, celery, and crushed crackers, ensuring they’re well mixed with the wet ingredients.
Gently fold in the crab meat, breaking up larger pieces and making sure to discard any shell fragments. Be careful not to overmix so some crab chunks remain.
Scoop the mixture into tablespoon-sized portions, pressing firmly to shape into small balls. Place the crab balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for around 20 minutes, or until the crab bites develop a golden-brown crust. If possible, flip halfway through the baking process for even browning.
