Instructions
Heat a skillet and add a little butter. Toast one side of each slice of rye bread until it turns golden brown. Set aside the toasted slices.
In the same skillet, warm the sliced pastrami over medium heat. Once heated, place Swiss cheese on top and allow it to melt slightly.
Spread a generous layer of Dijon mustard on the non-toasted side of each slice of bread. Layer on the warm pastrami and melted cheese.
Add a layer of drained sauerkraut on top, and then complete the sandwich with another slice of bread.
Press the sandwich gently in the skillet to meld everything together. Serve and enjoy your delicious pastrami sandwich!
