Making homemade fabric softener take a totally of maybe five minutes. Actually your kids could help you make this and practice their counting skills all at the same time.
Ingredients needed:
1 gallon white vinegar
40 drops of essential oils of your choice.
Lavender, orange, lemon, peppermint and tree tea oil are always good ones to add. Our favorite combination is 20 drops of lavender and 20 drops of tree tea oil.
Open you bottle of vinegar and add the essential oil drops.
When ready to use just give the container a shake and use 1/4 cup of the vinegar and essential oils.
Pour into your fabric softener slot on your washing machine. It is really that simple.
The homemade fabric softener will help reduce soap residue in your washing machine and in your clothes. Plus reduces static in dryer.
