1lbuncooked hot Italian poultry sausagecasings removed if present, can be turkey or chicken sausage
8ozsliced white mushrooms
1cuppizza sauce
1can8 oz tomato sauce
1.5ozsliced black olives
2ozturkey pepperoni slicescut into quarters
½teaspoonItalian seasoning
Pinchof crushed red pepper flakes
1can7.5 oz refrigerated biscuit dough
1cupshredded 2% Mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly mist a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Set it aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sausage. Break it up with a spoon or spatula and cook for a couple of minutes. Then, add the mushrooms and cook for an additional 6-8 minutes until the sausage is fully cooked and the mushrooms are softened.
Stir in the tomato sauce, pizza sauce, pepperoni, olives, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes. Add the biscuit dough pieces and mix until everything is well combined.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle the Mozzarella cheese on top. Return it to the oven for another 15 minutes, or until the cheese is hot and bubbly.
