Begin by whipping the heavy cream in a large mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to beat the cream until it becomes light and foamy, which usually takes about 2-3 minutes.
Next, incorporate the vanilla essence and powdered sugar into the whipped cream. Continue to beat the mixture for approximately one more minute, ensuring everything is thoroughly combined.
Now, gently fold the strawberry puree into the cream mixture using a spatula. If you don't have ready-made puree, simply blend fresh strawberries and strain them to make your own.
Pour the mousse mixture halfway into your chosen serving glasses or bowls. This leaves room for a topping of fresh strawberries. Refrigerate the mousse for at least one hour to set properly.
While the mousse chills, chop a few strawberries for garnish. After refrigeration, add the chopped strawberries on top of each mousse serving.
