Cooking time : 6-8 hours
Servings: 4 – 6
- 2 lb shaved beef
- 2 pkgs dry Italian salad dressing mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 16-oz jar deli-sliced mild pepper rings, drained
- Sandwich rolls of choice
- Optional: ½ to 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
Place beef into the slow cooker. Add Italian salad dressing mixes, water and if you want the extra
kick of heat, add the optional red pepper flakes.
Cook on low setting 6-8 hours.
About 15 minutes before serving, stir in pepper rings.
Toast sandwich buns under broiler and then serve with a generous amount of Italian beef.
