4 Homemade Skin, Hair and Body Conditioners

There are so many good alternatives for personal, skin, hair and body care that you can make straight from your kitchen. There is no waste because you make the recipes when you need to use them. Nothing is loss. There are no hidden ingredients like dyes and added chemicals. The cost is not out of this world and you have learned not to depend on a store. I will walk you through Four Personal Skin, Hair and Body Conditioners we use all the time around our home.

Avocado Hair Conditioning

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 Tablespoons plain yogurt
  • Juice from 1/2 a lemon

Directions:

Place everything in a blender and process until smooth.

Apply entire mixture to your hair.

Massage into hair and scalp.

Wrap hair in warm towel for 20 minutes.

Rinse well with warm water.

Shampoo as usual.

Avocado is rich in Vitamin A, B, protein and natural oils

Cinnamon Body Powder

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon cinnamon

Directions:

Mix together.

Cooling powder for after bath.

Sprinkle on bedsheets for a better nights sleep

Aloe Vera skin Smoother

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
  • 1/4 cup strong chamomile tea cooled
  • 2 teaspoons vitamin E oil
  • 2 drops peppermint essential oil

Directions:

Combine all ingredients.

Pour into container.

Massage into skin.

Chamomile and Vitamin E oil help condition skin and prevents peeling. Aloe Vera gel is very soothing to the skin.

After Sunrise

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tablespoon Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Witch Hazel
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 2 drops lavender oil

Directions:

Mix everything.

Forms a milky solution.

Shake before using.

Apply to skin let dry. It will leave a fine powder film on skin.

After done working outside just wash off.
