With just four ingredients, you can have an awesome appetizer on your hand or a quick grab and go breakfast for those mornings your kids are rushing to get out the door.

This is a favorite recipe of my husbands and it definitely is made a lot during Football season. In fact I am surprised he does not ask me to make them more often.

His mom used to make them all the time and I don’t think I ever even had a sausage ball before I met her. I quickly realized how yummy they were but when I found out how easy they were to make, I was blown away.

All it takes for these sausage balls to come together is a baking mix (such as Bisquick or Pioneer Baking Mix), cheddar cheese and your favorite ground sausage.

Throw it all in a bowl, add milk, mix and form into balls, bake and EAT. That pretty much sums it up! Our favorite sausage to use is Jimmy Dean. I love their flavors and it is our favorite ground sausage to use.

This recipe calls for regular sausage but feel free to try hot, or one of my favorites, country sausage. You could even use your favorite cheese in place of cheddar. Make it your own!

We make our sausage balls pretty big so it takes about 22-25 minutes to bake them. You know they are ready when the edges and tops start to brown just a bit.

These guys are perfect for any Football party, BBQ, Brunch get together, or grab and go breakfast. My husband eats them cold but I like to warm them up for about 30 seconds. But of course they are just perfect right out of the oven too!

These would also be perfect to pack for your kids school lunch! My kids love breakfast so naturally we give it to them for dinner or lunch on occasion. Is there anything better than breakfast for dinner!?

A super easy appetizer for any Football party, Brunch, BBQ or quick breakfast. Exploding with yummy cheddar cheese and delicious sausage, these Sausage Balls will be a crowd favorite.
